RPM Max Limiter

RPM Limiters

About the System

The Everglade RPM Max Limiter is an entirely electronic product. It enables most vehicles from 2002 to have a permanently set top RPM limit. This has proven to be an effective method to reduce wear and tear on vehicles. It offers fuel economy savings to vehicles that may not benefit from having just a top speed limiter installed i.e. vehicles not predominantly travelling at higher speeds. The RPM controller is usually set towards the top of the vehicle torque curve to allow useable performance without putting the engine and transmission under unnecessary strain. Rev limiters are useful also for vehicles that use auxiliary equipment and can be used to stop the 'over revving' of the vehicle engine when stationery. Refuse trucks, mobile cranes, cherry pickers and other vehicles that require a slightly higher stationery rpm, all benefit from the ease of use of rpm limiters.

The Everglade RPM controller can be installed on a wide range of vehicles from 2005 onwards. Our engineers cover the whole of the UK and we can arrange for installation at a location convenient to you.

Key Features:

•   Single set top engine RPM e.g. 3000 RPM

•   Can be set to any RPM

•   Reversible - Can be removed by our engineers

•   E Mark Certified

•   Reduction in vehicle emissions output

•   Increases in fuel economy

•   Reduction in vehicle and engine wear and tear

•   Protection for fleet operators – Duty of care

More Information

RPM limiters are becoming a very popular choice for our fleet customers. There are multiple benefits of limiting the engine RPM including reducing fuel bills, reducing stress placed on the engine and drivetrain components and protecting the safety of your fleet drivers. The RPM limiter is ideal for situations where fleet vehicles are driving at lower speeds where the benefits of just a top speed limiter wouldn't come into effect. Successful installations on various large fleet and council vehicles has proven to be effective at both reducing fuel bills and component wear.
